Same-day and last-mile delivery, done properly
One urgent drop or a daily multi-stop route. Ready Set Ship picks up, delivers and proves it, across the GTA, on the same business day.
Request Business Pricing Open a Delivery AccountLocal delivery without running a fleet
Doing deliveries in-house means drivers, vehicles, route planning, tracking software, commercial insurance and daily supervision. Every one of those is a fixed cost that arrives long before the order volume does.
Ready Set Ship gives your business a full local delivery operation without any of it. We move documents, products, supplies, customer orders and other approved items across the GTA, and we report on every single stop, so your team is never guessing where an order is.
If your stock already sits with us, delivery is simply the last step of the same workflow. Our 3PL warehouse in Ontario receives, stores and picks the order, and our driver delivers it the same day.

Choose the service level that matches the promise you made your customer. Mix them freely on the same account.
Same-Day Delivery
Picked up and delivered inside the GTA on the same business day. Built for local customer orders, documents, products and supplies that cannot wait for a next-day network.
Rush Delivery
Priority pickup and direct transport with no consolidation stops. Suited to legal documents, replacement parts, medical supplies and anything with a deadline attached.
Scheduled Routes
Daily, weekly or custom routes. We collect from your location or from our Mississauga warehouse and deliver to a fixed list of stops on a set schedule.
Multi-Stop Delivery
Submit a batch of deliveries and we sequence them into one efficient route. Ideal for pharmacies, flower shops, retailers and offices with several drops a day.
Dedicated Service
Reserve a driver and vehicle for a block of time, a defined route or a specific project, without hiring, training and insuring delivery staff of your own.
Returns and Pickups
We collect returns, documents, equipment and reusable containers from your customers and bring them back to you or into our returns and reverse logistics process.

This is usually the difference between answering a customer in ten seconds and opening an investigation.
Pickup and status
Pickup confirmation, live status updates and an estimated delivery time on every active order.

GPS confirmation, recipient name, electronic signature and a delivery photograph with a timestamp.
When it fails
Driver notes and a documented reason recorded against the order, visible to your team immediately.
Different businesses, different failure points
A pharmacy needs signatures. A law firm needs speed. A wholesaler needs a route that never changes. We define the rules per account instead of applying one policy to everyone.
- Law firms and professional offices
- Pharmacies and healthcare businesses
- Flower shops and gift businesses
- Retail and ecommerce companies
- Auto parts suppliers
- Medical and dental suppliers
- Print shops
- Wholesalers and distributors
- Contractors and industrial suppliers
- Property management companies
- Local manufacturers
- Any business with recurring GTA drops
Note: certain products need prior approval or additional handling procedures. Regulated, temperature-sensitive and high-value goods are reviewed before an account is activated, and businesses moving controlled items should confirm their own obligations with the Government of Ontario.
Store, pick, pack and deliver with one partner
Ready Set Ship can receive, store, prepare and deliver your inventory from our Mississauga facility. Local delivery stops being a separate vendor bolted onto your fulfillment and becomes the last line of the same process.
One account team, one set of rules, one place to look when something goes wrong.
Inventory and storage
Receiving, put-away and warehousing and inventory management with real-time stock visibility, from our 3PL warehouse in Toronto and Mississauga.
Pick, pack and fulfillment
Scan-verified order fulfillment services for DTC volume plus B2B fulfillment for retail accounts, all on the same ecommerce and B2B fulfillment stack.
Marketplace prep
Labelling, polybagging and case packing through our Amazon FBA prep services, FBA prep centre in Toronto and wider prep centre services across the GTA.
Value-added handling
Bundles, subscription boxes and promo packs built through kitting and assembly, then dispatched on the next local route.
Beyond the GTA
Orders outside our delivery zone move through local and global shipping, with freight forwarding services for pallet and container volume.
Built around your workflow
Anything non-standard is handled as custom logistics, from special handling rules to account-specific reporting and SLAs.

Where we deliver across the GTA
Our Mississauga base sits minutes from Highway 401, 403, 407, 427 and the QEW. That is what makes same-day coverage across the region realistic rather than aspirational.
Timing depends on pickup location, destination, order size, service level and booking time. Storms, construction and collisions move all of those, so on volatile days we plan routes against live conditions from Ontario 511 and adjust cutoffs before they turn into missed promises.
What your delivery rate is actually based on
There is no single flat rate for local delivery, because a 4 km document run and a 60 km multi-stop route are not the same job. Here is what we price against.
| Pricing factor | Why it changes your rate |
|---|---|
| Pickup and delivery locations | Zone pairing sets the base rate before anything else is added. |
| Distance and delivery zone | Longer legs consume driver hours, not just fuel. |
| Service level | Rush and dedicated service reserve capacity that cannot be shared with other stops. |
| Number of stops | Batched stops on one route cost less per delivery than isolated bookings. |
| Package size and weight | Oversized and heavy items change vehicle choice and handling time. |
| Required vehicle | Car, cargo van or truck, matched to the load. |
| Waiting time | Time held at a dock or reception desk is time removed from the route. |
| Special handling | Fragile, regulated or signature-required items need defined procedures. |
| Frequency and monthly volume | Recurring routes and steady volume qualify for customized business pricing. |
Local delivery expectations keep tightening as ecommerce takes a larger share of Canadian retail, a trend tracked by Statistics Canada. Pricing a route properly is what keeps a same-day promise sustainable instead of a loss you repeat daily.

Same-day and last-mile delivery questions
How fast is same-day delivery in the GTA?
Same-day means pickup and delivery within the same business day inside our GTA coverage area. Actual timing depends on when the order is submitted, the distance between pickup and destination, and the service level selected. Rush delivery moves fastest because the driver travels directly to the destination with no other stops on the route.
What is the difference between same-day and last-mile delivery?
Same-day delivery describes the speed. Last-mile delivery describes the stage: the final leg from a local warehouse or business location to the recipient's door. Ready Set Ship handles both, which is why businesses storing inventory with us can turn a local order into a completed doorstep delivery without involving a separate courier.
Do I need to store inventory with you to use the delivery service?
No. We collect from your location just as easily as we dispatch from ours. Storing with us simply removes a pickup leg, which usually improves both cost and cutoff times. The storage side is covered on our warehousing and inventory management page.
Can I submit multiple deliveries at once?
Yes. The client portal accepts individual orders or a CSV upload for the whole day, and our dispatch team sequences those stops into an efficient multi-stop route before drivers leave.
What proof of delivery do I receive?
Depending on the service selected, records can include pickup confirmation, GPS delivery confirmation, recipient name, electronic signature, a delivery photograph, timestamps and driver notes. When a delivery cannot be completed, the reason is documented against the order.
Which types of items can you deliver?
Documents, products, supplies, customer orders, equipment and returns. Some categories require prior approval or specific handling procedures, and restricted or regulated items are reviewed before your account goes live.
Do you handle returns and pickups from customers?
Yes. We collect returns, documents, equipment and reusable containers from your customers and bring them back to your premises or into our warehouse for returns and reverse logistics processing.
Can we set up a recurring daily route?
Yes. Scheduled routes can run daily, weekly or on a custom pattern, collecting from your business or our warehouse and delivering to a fixed set of locations. Recurring volume also qualifies for customized business pricing.
What happens if a recipient is not available?
The driver follows the instructions saved on your account, whether that is a safe drop, a second attempt or a return to origin. The failed-delivery reason is recorded in the portal so your team can act on it immediately instead of discovering it hours later.
